How do you put over 30 years of whimsical eyewear creations into a short blog post?

Among multiple collaboration with architects, home and fashion designers over the past two decades, theo helps each year 1 or 2 students develop accessories for their graduating project. Impressed by the talent of Wujic Jo, which love for Mr. Bean was noticeable, theo put his student project frames into production for real and made it available to the optical market.
His high fashion glasses managed to perfectly balance between a classic look and absurd British humour. The result is a highly stylised set of frames, with an excellent fit and a classy look - like a tailored suit - but then, with a serious twist. The frames themselves are made of acetate, with a keyhole shaped bridge and rivets. But there had to be a touch of Mr. Bean, too. He is inseparably associated with his Mini Cooper. So Wujic added a chrome clip dripping with humour! The tiny windshield wipers can not only wipe the dirt from the lenses, but even magic away the entire sun filter.
And…in a highly limited edition, mind you.
Just 75 sets of 3 glasses were produced worldwide. Each pair of glasses comes in a snazzy box containing a glasses case and a separate bag for the clip. The box has the same typical beige interior as the Mini Cooper that so captured Wujic’s imagination. Seat belts included. Safety first!
Today, these pieces are rarities and became highly collectible among eyeglasses and design lovers. Make sure you parked yours properly.
