Port Tanger

Port Tanger is a luxury eyewear brand born from an imaginative response to a poem in a travel diary set in Tangier — a city of layered cultures, light, movement, and vivid memory. Its designs aim to preserve the colors, cultures, and feelings a traveler might carry from Tangier, transforming those impressions into eyewear that resonates with identity and story.

Every pair of Port Tanger glasses is handcrafted in Japan, made with high-quality acetate, premium hardware, and nylon lenses that provide full UVA/UVB protection. What’s more, each frame bears the brand’s signature “six-point design” engraved on both temple sides — a symbolic motif honoring nostalgia, tradition, craftsmanship, hope, design, and culture.

Aesthetically, Port Tanger doesn’t do subtle: think bold silhouettes, curved frames, and tinted lenses with earthy, sun-warmed tones or Mediterranean-blue hues. Whether it’s the vintage-tinged shapes in styles like Mektoub — whose name carries the poetic weight of “it is written” — or the distinct character of lines like Zia, Ghaib, or Hayya, Port Tanger’s offerings are versatile enough to complement many faces, while maintaining a singular sense of identity.

At Atelier Mira, we believe eyewear can, and should, be more than functional. It can be a vessel of memory and culture, a form of personal storytelling. Port Tanger fits this belief. Their glasses are not just accessories, but chapters: evocative, wearable, and deeply rooted in heritage and craft. If you’re drawn to eyewear that carries narrative and soul, we invite you to explore our selection of Port Tanger — and see the world through frames shaped by history, emotion, and imagination.
